FN 509 Tactical 9mm 4.5″ Threaded 24rd Suppressor Sights FDE

The FN 509 Tactical is a semi-automatic, striker-fired pistol that is an extension of the FN 509 family. It is based on FN’s submission pistol that was tested by the U.S. Army for the Modular Handgun Trials. The pistol has been improved with the design enhancements implemented in the FN 509.One notable feature of the FN 509 Tactical is the patent-pending Low-Profile Optics Mounting System. This system allows the platform to accept more than ten commercially-available miniature red dot (MRD) optics. These optics can co-witness with the suppressor-height night sights and remain adaptable to future optics releases without the need for direct milling of the slide.Other features of the FN 509 Tactical include a 4.5″ barrel, a polymer frame in a flat dark earth color, and three magazines (two 24-round magazines and one 17-round magazine). It does not have a manual safety and is equipped with suppressor height night sights. The pistol also has a threaded barrel, a sight protecting slide cap, a loaded chamber indicator, interchangeable backstraps, a 1913 accessory rail, an ambidextrous slide stop lever, an ambidextrous magazine release, and comes with an FN soft case.Additional features of the FN 509 Tactical include the FN Low Profile Optics Mounting System(TM), a threaded barrel for attaching suppressors or muzzle devices, suppressor height night sights for co-witnessing with the optics, and a cold hammer-forged barrel for durability.
