The new METE series of CANIK TP9 pistols has undergone several changes to enhance its performance and features. Externally, the firearm now includes an integrally flared mag-well, allowing for smoother and quicker magazine reloads, as well as providing additional support for a firmer grip. The front of the grip has been redesigned with aggressive texturing, providing better stability during shooting. The double undercut trigger guard ensures that the support hand remains securely in place on the firearm. The slide stop lever has been made low-profile, and the rear sight edge has been angled, both of which improve functionality in various shooting situations. Additionally, the slide has been cut to allow for co-witnessing optics, enabling the use of a wide range of optic sights for a reliable sight picture. The beavertail has been ergonomically redesigned for increased comfort, and the holster fit-and-lock (HFL) system ensures secure retention in the holster.Internally, the METE series features easy in / easy out push pins that can be removed effortlessly using slight pressure and a Canik punch. This allows for quick and easy disassembly of the firearm. In fact, the entire internal platform is modular, meaning it can be fully disassembled and reassembled using only the Canik punch.The CANIK TP9 METE SFx is a striker-fired, semi-automatic pistol with a polymer frame. It is a full-size pistol chambered in 9mm with a 5.2″ barrel. It features a Cerakote finish with a black slide and a white frame. The sights are 3-dot white sights, providing clear visibility. The firearm includes two magazines, one with an 18-round capacity and another with a 20-round capacity. It also comes with a reversible OWB/IWB holster and a hard case for storage and transportation.
