The new METE Pro series is an upgraded version of the semi-automatic sporting pistol from CANIK. It features several external and internal changes that enhance its performance and user experience.Externally, the pistol has subtle but noticeable updates. The integrally flared mag-well allows for smoother reloads and provides additional support for the grip. The front of the grip now has aggressive texturing, which improves stability during shooting. The double undercut trigger guard ensures a secure grip with the support hand. The low profile slide stop lever and angled rear sight edge enhance functionality in various situations. The METE Pro also has a new 1/2×28 threaded barrel for compatibility with muzzle devices or suppressors. An optic-ready slide cut allows for the attachment of various optics, from Trijicon RMRcc to micro optics, ensuring a consistent and reliable sight picture. Additionally, the pistol features an ergonomically redesigned beavertail for increased comfort and a holster fit-and-lock (HFL) system for retention in the holster.Internally, the METE Pro has user-friendly modifications. The easy in/easy out push pins can be removed with slight pressure and the Canik punch, simplifying disassembly. The entire platform’s internals are modular, enabling complete disassembly and reassembly using only the Canik punch.The CANIK METE SFX Pro is a full-size, striker-fired pistol with a polymer frame. It chambers 9mm ammunition and has a 5.75″ threaded barrel with a 1/2×28 thread pitch. The pistol has a matte black finish and features 3-dot white sights for aiming.
