FN 509 Tactical 4.5″ 9mm 10rd Black

The FN 509 Tactical is an enhanced version of the FN 509, which was tested by the U.S. Army for the Modular Handgun Trials. It includes significant improvements in its design. One notable feature is the patent-pending Low-Profile Optics Mounting System that allows for the attachment of more than ten miniature red dot optics. These optics can co-witness with the suppressor-height night sights and can easily adapt to future optic releases without the need for slide milling.The pistol also comes with a slide cap, which is used when not shooting with an optic. This cap has raised sight wings that protect the alignment of iron sights in case the pistol is dropped or bumped. It also features a textured ramp that allows for easy slide racking against a belt loop, pant pocket, or boot.The top end of the pistol includes an FN-signature 4.5-inch cold hammer-forged stainless-steel barrel with a target crown. The barrel has 1/2″ x 28 threads, allowing it to accept most 9mm suppressors available. It also includes a thread cap with an integrated O-ring to prevent loosening during use.Overall, the FN 509 Tactical offers a range of features that enhance its functionality and versatility.
