FN 509 Tactical 4.5″ 9mm 10rd FDE

The FN 509 Tactical is an upgraded version of the FN 509 pistol, which was tested by the U.S. Army for the Modular Handgun Trials. This pistol features several improvements to its design. One notable feature is the patent-pending Low-Profile Optics Mounting System, which allows the firearm to accept more than ten commercially-available miniature red dot (MRD) optics. These optics can co-witness with the suppressor-height night sights and can easily adapt to future optics releases without the need for direct milling of the slide.The FN 509 Tactical has a semi-automatic, striker-fired action and a full-sized frame. It has a 4.5-inch barrel and a polymer frame. The pistol is finished in Flat Dark Earth color and comes with two 10-round magazines. It does not have a manual safety.Other features of the FN 509 Tactical include suppressor height night sights, a threaded barrel for suppressor or muzzle device attachment, a sight protecting slide cap, a loaded chamber indicator, interchangeable backstraps for customizable grip, a 1913 accessory rail for adding accessories, an ambidextrous slide stop lever, and an ambidextrous magazine release.The FN 509 Tactical is packaged in an FN soft case for protection and transport. The firearm is chambered in 9mm.
