Additional Notes: The Smith & Wesson Model 14-5, part of the K-frame series, is a classic double-action revolver produced by the renowned American firearms manufacturer, Smith & Wesson. Introduced in 1947, the Model 14 was initially known as the K-38 Target Masterpiece and later became the Model 14. The “-5” variant indicates a specific engineering change or modification made during its production run. Chambered in .38 Special, this six-shot revolver features a medium-sized frame, adjustable sights, and a 6-inch barrel, making it well-suited for target shooting and general-purpose use. The Model 14-5 is celebrated for its accuracy, reliability, and smooth trigger pull, making it a favorite among both target shooters and collectors of vintage firearms.
